The most recent NAMI Contra Costa Volunteer Appreciation Celebration happened as the spring blossomed on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM, dedicated to ALL NEW & Existing Volunteers! They connected with us, the Volunteer Coordinators, virtually and in-person, at the NAMI CC Office Courtyard, 2151 Salvio Street, Suite V Concord, CA 94520.
The agenda of this special evening consisted of music and refreshments and networking with NAMI CC (new and existing volunteers) for strategic placement based on strong skill sets and lived experience. Next, volunteers received their graduation certificates for their diligent participation in our 5-week volunteer module training. The certificates were presented by our Lead Volunteer Coordinator, Shelly Ji; CEO, Gigi Crowder; Board of Director Member, Stephanie Taddeo; and Staff, including Kajuon Howard.
Thank you for your dedication in giving back to the community and helping us achieve our mission to help provide education, advocacy, support and outreach to loved ones and family members impacted by mental illness. We appreciate you so much!
