Peer-to-Peer Classes Starting on May 8, 2024

A NAMI Peer-to-Peer Recovery Education Program
A free, 8-week course for adults living with mental illness

We have a plan to hold Peer to Peer in the upcoming summer season for peers affected by or living with mental illness who are beginning the recovery process to manage their mental health condition/symptoms.

Class Details

Classes meet once a week for 8 weeks.

The upcoming class will be held at the NAMI Contra Costa office (2151 Salvio Street, Suite V in Concord) from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Wednesdays beginning May 8, 2024. Dates include May 8, 15, 22 and 29, and June 5, 12, 19 and 26. Reservations are required to obtain a seat in the class.

About the Class

NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a free, 8-session educational program for adults with mental illness who are looking to better understand their condition and journey toward recovery. Taught by a trained team of people who’ve been there, the program includes presentations, discussion and interactive exercises. This in person group experience provides the opportunity for mutual support and positive impact. You can experience compassion and reinforcement from people who relate to your experiences.
