For our March General Meeting, NAMI Contra Costa featured two local women leaders, Vice Mayor Shanelle Scales-Preston and Contra Costa County Director of Human Services Anna Roth, reflecting upon advances these dynamic women made with a special emphasis on the improvements for the lives of those impacted by mental health and other under-resourced populations. These women also shared what Women’s History Month meant to them as agents for change and policymakers by sharing testimonies and the women they looked up to in our community.
