Dear Community Partners,
Join us in 2 days for our Together Against Mental Health Stigma Resource Fair, a collaborative event hosted in partnership between NAMI Contra Costa County and Mental Health Connections. There will be over 65 community partners present to share resources they offer to support community members’ mental health!
This community gathering is dedicated to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and connecting individuals with valuable mental health resources and support services. We invite you to be part of this meaningful day of community, education, and support.
This family-friendly, mental health awareness, stigma reduction event will include a light stroll for health, live music, complimentary meal and snacks, guest speakers, interactive vendors/booths, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and announcing 2026 Mental Health Change Agent Appreciation Awardees and a dove release in memory of our loved ones gone too soon. Community partners will join us in sharing behavioral health wellness resources which will include information about the various county programs and how they support those impacted by mental/behavioral Illness.
The annual Mental Health Change Agent Appreciation Awardees, nominated this past month, will be announced and awarded for May Mental Health Awareness Month. We hope you will join us as we come together to support mental health awareness and strengthen our community.
