This event is designed to report back on the progress made and the challenges discovered as the 40 Voices Campaign charges forward with an effort to establish an African American Holistic Wellness and Resource Hub in Contra Costa County. We will share the strategies we employed and the key voices that were lifted than joined our campaign as advocates to secure $80,000 for a Feasibility Study, the creation of an African American Steering Committee, and 1 million dollar allocation for immediate services in Antioch to address the painful, racially motivated text messages from law enforcement.
