Welcome to day 12 of our limited run series, Mental Health Minutes With Gigi. In this video, Gigi addresses the unique challenges of youth mental health, including rising rates of youth suicide, and the ways we can support young people, such as providing safe, non-judgmental spaces where they can connect and find support. NAMI’s Ending the Silence Program, offered by NAMI CC, features young, diverse staff who visit middle and high schools to talk about mental health and the importance of seeking help early. NAMI CC also invests in student ambassadors, who share basic information with families and distribute green and black ribbons to connect individuals to critical resources. Watch to learn more!
