Call To Action: Contra Costa County Board of Supervisor Letter Writing Campaign
Dear Contra Costa County Community,
We are hoping to get letters from families and others who have had challenges receiving appropriate behavioral health services from Contra Costa Behavioral Health System. Create a formal letter to the Board of Supervisor in your region, cc’ing all others. Please express your frustrations with how County Behavioral Health Services and programs have failed you or your loved one impacted by severe mental illness. Once letters are received, we will take our voice to the county Board of Supervisors at one of their upcoming meetings that are generally Tuesdays. We will keep you posted. Please condense the most important points of your letters and directly send them to gro.atsocartnociman@srettel.
Instructions
- All letters should state, “You’ve failed me or my family in providing behavioral health services in this county and it hurts me because…” Please personalize your own reason, including the city you live in.
- For physical letters, send attention CAO with cc’s to each supervisor to:
Administration Building – 1025 Escobar St, Martinez, CA 94553
