In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month and Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month of May, local artist MK Wong presents 7 sequential images exploring mental health care and stigmas that are universal across all communities but especially prevalent within minority communities.
Come celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with MK Wong at the Artist’s Reception on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.
Representatives from National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Contra Costa will be present to speak on their services.
